  The effect we are having on the Watchtower is HUGE

  i was inspired by a recent thread i know i aint gunna crumble the wt, but a girl can dream to look at the effect we as individuals are having on the watchtower society.. 3dogs1husband quoted a story to show that even helping only one person is worth it.. it is encouraging to note that the one person you may have helped has lead to millions being helped, due to the power of compounding growth.. compounding growth is well illustrated by the rice on a chessboard problem.

  if you start with 1 grain of rice on square one, and double it to 2 on the second, 4 on the third, 8 on the fourth, by the last (64th) square there would be 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice.. likewise, if you help one person out of the grip of the watchtower this year, then next year you help one more and they help one, in a few years that is going to have a formidable result on the number of jehovahs witnesses.

  skeeter1 says: Bad publicity is usually good publicity. I wonder how many JDubs later googled, "watchtower writing department woman" and the first thing that pops up is.........

  I instantly thought the same thing when listening to the talk. The speaker had to of created some curiosity among those in attendance so much, so as to move individuals to want to search on line and see who this 'sister' is. Another example perhaps of WT leadership shooting themselves in the foot?

  I don't think the irritation that Barbara and Joe are causing the GB is going to go away any day soon!

  Barbara, thought you might like to know that recently at a circuit assembly the visiting speaker from Bethel for whatever reason had a need to mention you and your past dealings with the WTBTS.

  He didn't mention you by name. But he did comment about a sister who a few years back worked in the writing department.

  He mentioned how you had gained access to a library of information that you found disturbing. He stated that one thing led to another & how now instead of writing in support of the 'truth' you have a website that is bent on speaking against the 'truth'. He went on talking about apostasy & ......... yada-yada-yada.

  Just thought you'd like to know .........you are making a difference. WTBTS are aware of your presence. Sounds like to me you are under their skin like a big itch!

  Loesch's entire talk (Tribulation phase 1, 2 & 3) is based on speculation. What a bonehead!

  June Service Meeting part: Marriage, separation and divorce

  The expression 'Just Another Day In Paradise' comes to mind.

  Just this past week I learned of a young JW couple who we've known for many years who are calling it quits. The brother has been a ministerial servant for a number of years now and doing his job well in serving the congregation.

  Lately I noticed he's been coming to meeting with his four little ones in tow. I asked brother so and so if sister so and so is sick and his reply .....nope! She left him and the kids, two girls and two boys. The youngest is not even one yet, still in daddy's arms. Mommy just up and left, walked away, turned her back on the family and hubby.

  This weeks' service meeting part 'What Is The Christian Standard For Marriage, Divorce, and Separation?' came a tad too late for this family. Not that it would have helped much!

  In my congregation I've seen more than my share of families breaking up in the past and recent. Just another day in paradise!

  Isn't being one of Jehovah's Witnesses so wonderful? Its' the best way of life! Its' the best place to raise a happy family.

  Thank you WTBTS and your Governing Body for keeping our families in tack!

  I've been an active JW for too many years now. For those who hate to admit it and/or refuse to believe it.....Jehovah's Witnesses and the WTBTS have their share of dirty laundry...........Indeed! This article tells it like it is.

  I like how 'OnTheWayOut' words it.....

  All the thinking that "we don't want to bring negative light to Jehovah's organization" is such crap. Protect the children and let Jehovah care for His organization's reputation.

  Speculation is a common denominator you will find in both the WTBTS and Harold Camping.

  Mad Sweeney: Good Thread.

  The entire convention program turned out to be a lemon. The last talk on Sunday entitled "God's Kingdom Will Crush All Other Kingdoms-When?" (the talk that promised fireworks) turned out to be ............a dud! Even the speaker got bored with the nonsense of his talk so much so that he (believe it or not) ended 15 minutes early.

  Its' just as 'OUTLAW' puts it:

  I`ve traveled hundreds of miles and spent hundreds of dollars..

  To come to a WBT$/JW Assembly..

  To find out Imaginary Toes,on an Imaginary Statue, don`t mean anything..
